AUBURN, Alabama—Auburn track & field sophomore Mekhi Dupree was named the Southeastern Conference Men’s Co-Runner of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
A native of Pensacola, Florida, Dupree won the men’s 200m at the Yellow Jacket Invitational this past weekend in a collegiate-leading time of 20.34. The time was a personal best for Dupree and made him the No. 8 performer in Auburn school history in the event.
The SEC honor is the first for Dupree in his Auburn career and first for a Tiger outdoors since Israel Okon received the league honors on May 6, 2025.
Auburn will have an off week before returning to competition at the Florida Relays, April 3-4, in Gainesville, Florida.
