AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn junior Anna Davis will make her fifth start at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur on Wednesday and Thursday at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, Georgia. If Davis makes the 36-hole cut, she will play the final round at Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday in Augusta, Georgia.
Davis has had an eventful third season on the Plains in 2025-26, notching two wins at the Tar Heel Invitational and The Nanea Invitational. Davis’ five career collegiate wins tie her for the most in program history with Maria Martinez, Celeste Troche and Robin Cook. In 10 events this season, the Auburn junior holds a 71.04 scoring average.

Last season, Davis earned WGCA Second Team All-America, Golfweek Second Team All-America and First Team All-SEC honors. During the 2024-25 season, she posted the lowest season scoring average in program history at 70.81 and won two individual titles at the Illini Invitational at Medinah and the Charles Schwab Collegiate.
Davis received an invitation to this year’s Augusta National Women’s Amateur through the exemption awarded to previous champions within the last five years. The Auburn junior won the event in 2022 at the age of 16 prior to her collegiate career. In that event, Davis fired a 1-under 215, including a 3-under 69 in the final round at Augusta National, to win by one stroke over Ingrid Lindblad and Latanna Stone.
In 2025, Davis finished tied for 11th at the event, shooting 4-under 212 over three rounds, including a 2-under 70 in the final round at Augusta National. Auburn has had an active player reach the final round each of the last three years.

The first two rounds of the ANWA will be held at Champions Retreat Golf Club on Wednesday and Thursday with a field of 72 amateur players. A cut will take place after 36 holes, with the leading 30 players and ties advancing. After an official practice round at Augusta National Golf Club on Friday, the final round will take place there on Saturday.
Provided she remains an amateur, the Augusta National Women’s Amateur champion will receive invitations to the next five editions of the event, the U.S. Women’s Open, the AIG Women’s Open, the Chevron Championship, the Evian Championship and any USGA, R&A and PGA of America amateur championships for which she is eligible for one year.
The first and second rounds will be broadcast live on Golf Channel from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. CT, while NBC will broadcast three hours of Saturday’s final round beginning at 11 a.m. CT. Live scoring will also be available at ANWAgolf.com. Davis is set to tee off in Wednesday’s opening round at 7:12 a.m. CT.
