AUBURN, Ala. – Senior forward Keyshawn Hall has been named Third Team All-SEC, as voted on by the league’s 16 head coaches.
Hall finished the regular season as the SEC’s fourth leading scorer at 20.4 points per game while ranking 10th in rebounding at 6.9 per game. He was just one of two players in the league to rank top 10 in both points and rebounds along with Dailyn Swain of Texas.
Hall’s 591 total points is currently 15th on Auburn’s single season scoring list and he set the single season school record for free throws made (210 and counting). Hall has scored 35.5 percent of his points at the line which has helped Auburn rank second nationally in both free throws made (20.4) and free throws attempted (27.2) per game this year.
The Cleveland native scored double figures in 28 of his 29 games played this season and scored 20 or more points in 17 of those games. Hall scored a season-high 32 points in back-to-back games against Texas A&M and Arkansas to become the first Auburn player to score 30 or more points in consecutive games in 32 years. He currently has three 30-point games this year and has tallied seven double-doubles.
Hall and the Tigers open postseason play this Wednesday, March 11, in the first round of the SEC Tournament against Mississippi State. Tip is set for 2 p.m. on SEC Network.
