Tigers earn NCEA All-Championship recognition

Three members of the No. 3 Auburn equestrian team earned four NCEA All-Championship honors, the National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced Wednesday.

AUBURN, Ala. – Three members of the No. 3 Auburn equestrian team earned four NCEA All-Championship honors, the National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced Wednesday.

Senior Alexia Tordoff was placed on the Horsemanship and Reining teams, while junior Avery Glynn and sophomore Ariana Marnell secured a spot on the Flat team.

To be eligible for the All-Championship Team, the riders must have competed in at least two meets and have a winning record. Coaches vote on the team, but cannot vote for their own student-athletes.

Tordoff went 2-0-0 in both Horsemanship and Reining at the 2026 NCEA Championship, picking up wins vs. Fresno State and South Carolina. She scored a meet best in both events in both meets, starting with a 76.8 in Horsemanship and a 71.7 in Reining vs. Fresno State. In the semifinal vs. the Gamecocks, she earned a 77.2 in Horsemanship and a 73 in Reining.

Glynn, the NCEA and SEC Flat Rider of the Year, had two scores in the 90s and a 2-0-0 mark in the event. She secured a 90.3 vs. Fresno State and a 90.7 against the Gamecocks.

Marnell also went 2-0-0 on the Flat, recording a 90.7 in Auburn’s first meet and a 88.3 in the semifinal.

In addition, two Auburn horses were named a NCEA Championship Most Outstanding Horse. Presley was honored in Fences and Georgie on the Flat.
