AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn women’s tennis has signed Aishi Das, head coach Jordan Szabo announced Wednesday. Das, one of the top-rated juniors in the world, will join the Tigers in August ahead of the 2026-27 season.

“I’m excited about Aishi coming to play for Auburn,” said Szabo. “I’m excited that she’s put trust into myself and Auburn to further her development on and off the court. She’s one of the best junior players in the world. She’s had professional success and represented her country at the highest level on the women’s stage.

“We’re just thrilled that she chose to come and play for us. She could’ve chosen to attend multiple different schools for a lot of different reasons, but she wanted to come here to improve, compete and be part of a championship program. We can’t wait for Aishi to be part of our team and have her help us chase more championships.”

Das reached a career-high ITF junior ranking of No. 103 in February and has three ITF junior singles titles. She won the J100 Kawaguchi in 2024, the J60 Ashburton in 2025 and the J100 Wellington in 2025. She also has three J100 doubles titles in her career. Das reached a career-high Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) singles ranking of No. 1121 earlier this year, along with a doubles ranking of No. 1701, achieved in December 2025.

In 2026, Das qualified for the main draw of the Australian Open junior championships and reached the round of 32 in singles. She currently has a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 10.78.

Das, a native of Auckland, New Zealand, has represented her nation in the Billie Jean King Cup each of the last two years.
