AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn women’s tennis has added Emma Kamper, head coach Jordan Szabo announced Tuesday. Kamper, who played the last three seasons at Utah, will join the Tigers ahead of the 2026-27 season.

“Really excited for Emma to be joining us as one of the top transfers available,” said Szabo. “Emma has big goals to develop into a professional tour player and help us compete for a national title. We will do everything to help her become the best player she can be and set her up for future success. I’m thankful to her and her family for trusting Auburn and myself with her future. She will fit in perfectly with our talented and kind group of players.”

At Utah, Kamper earned All-Big 12 First Team singles honors in 2026 and was named All-Big 12 Second Team in 2025.

“I couldn’t be more excited to continue my college career at Auburn and be part of such a special team,” said Kamper. “I’m excited to work with Jordan and Pete (Francis), and compete alongside the girls on the team. It’s a great opportunity for me to continue my development in such a competitive environment.”

As a junior, Kamper played exclusively at the top of the Utes’ singles lineup and posted a 16-3 overall record, including a perfect 8-0 mark in Big 12 play. She also posted a 14-7 dual match record in doubles in 2026.

The Vejle, Denmark, native went 12-6 in singles as a sophomore in 2025 at the No. 1 position and recorded eight dual match doubles wins primarily at the No. 2 position.

Kamper holds a WTA singles ranking of No. 905 and an ITF singles ranking of No. 261, both of which are career highs. She also has a career-high WTA doubles ranking of No. 802, achieved in August 2025. In 2025, she won the doubles title at the ITF W15 Hameenlinna.

As a junior player, she reached a career-high ITF Juniors ranking inside the top 500 and advanced to the finals and semifinals of multiple events on the ITF World Junior Circuit as well as Tennis Europe events. She was consistently ranked as one of the top junior players in her home country of Denmark and was also a regional singles and doubles champion.
