AUBURN, Ala. – For having a collective team GPA of over a 3.0, the Auburn University men’s basketball team has earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2025-26 academic year.
The Tigers posted a collective 3.19 GPA last academic year. Additionally, six players earned NABC Honors Court, which includes juniors, seniors and graduate students who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The six players who earned NABC Honors Court are Drake Cardwell, Keyshawn Hall, Blake Muschalek, Kevin Overton, Reed Trapp and CJ Williams.
“I am extremely proud of how our men’s basketball team performed in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year,” said Dr. Regina Johnson, Associate Athletic Director of Academics. “These young men did a great job of balancing their basketball and academic schedules. They have a drive to earn their degree and the dedication they put forth to their academic success is truly special to see.”
The Tigers return eight players from last year’s team and have added eight new players to the 2026-27 roster.
