AUBURN, Ala. – Rising junior Balma Dávalos Guaita shined on the international stage by notching a top 10 finish at the European Ladies Amateur Championship this past weekend in Sweden.
Dávalos Guaita tied for 10th overall by finishing one under par and was just one of 12 golfers in a field of 143 to finish the tournament under par.
A native of Castellón de la Plana, Spain, Dávalos Guaita opened the event with a one over 73, and followed that up with a one under 71 to make the cut at even par. Round three saw her shoot a 73 (+1), and she saved her best round for last by shooting a two under 70 to finish the tournament at 287 (73-71-73-70 = -1).
Dávalos Guaita looks to carry this momentum into her junior year as she continues to build upon an already impressive career at Auburn which includes All-America Honorable Mention accolades from the WGCA and Golfweek in 2026, along with being named a Second Team All-SEC performer as a sophomore.
