AUBURN, Ala. – In an unprecedented exhibition contest, Auburn and Alabama have agreed to play each other in ‘The Feud Presented by Shipt Same Day Delivery’ on Thursday, Oct. 22, at Legacy Arena in Birmingham. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The exhibition game between the two rivals means the Tigers and Tide will play each other a minimum of three times this season. Auburn visits Alabama on Jan. 30, and the two teams conclude the regular season at Neville Arena on March 6 prior to the SEC Tournament.
“Our goal in scheduling exhibition games is to play quality opponents to test ourselves before the season official begins,” Head Coach Steven Pearl said. "Playing a team like Alabama provides us an incredible opportunity to accomplish that goal, while obviously giving our fans, our state and the entire basketball world a unique opportunity to see two rivals face off at a neutral site. The entire nation will be watching, and we are excited to represent Auburn University in what will be an unprecedented exhibition event.”
The almost 18,000-seat arena will be divided exactly in half with Auburn fans on one side and Alabama on the other to create a truly unique and one-of-a-kind atmosphere.
A ticket presale will run from Aug. 27-31, while tickets to the general public go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 1.
The entire 2026-27 Auburn men’s basketball non-conference schedule will be announced in the upcoming days.
