AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn will enter the 2026-27 season ranked third on the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) Preseason Poll, the NCEA announced Wednesday.

Auburn comes in at No. 3 behind No. 1 and defending national champion South Carolina and No. 2 Texas A&M, the 2026 SEC champion. The preseason poll includes four SEC teams in the top four spots, with Auburn's rival Georgia at No. 4.

“We are looking forward to the season,” head coach Jessica Braswell said. “We have a lot of preseason top ten teams on our schedule this year including playing all of the SEC teams twice. We are looking forward to the challenge and proving we are also a top contender.”

Auburn will have five All-American returners this season: senior Avery Glynn (Jumping Seat), senior Brooke Jolstad (Western), junior Ariana Marnell (Jumping Seat), sophomore Caroline Olsen (Jumping Seat) and senior Sydney Swallom (Western).

The equestrian team will begin the season Sept. 24 against Lynchburg at the Auburn University Equestrian Center at 2 p.m. CT. Admission to the meet is free.
