Keldric Faulk recorded the first sack of his NFL career, while Derick Hall and Roger McCreary turned in season-high performances in another week dominated by defense from former Tigers.
That and more on this week’s Auburn Made NFL Rundown.
Derrick Brown, DL, Carolina Panthers
Brown turned in his best performance of the season in the Panthers game against the Browns, registering five solo tackles and a pass defended to help strengthen Carolina’s front line. Playing 53 snaps, the 2023 Pro Bowler posted a season high PFF grade of 82.4 and improved his run defense grade to 66.7, which ranks 27th out of 125 interior defenders. Brown’s eight solo tackles this season rank sixth in his position group, and he ranks 24th with six quarterback pressures.
Carlton Davis III, CB, New England Patriots
Davis III led the Patriots defense by recording a season high with eight tackles, his most in a game since week one of the 2024 season. With seven tackles going for solo stops, the eighth-year pro turned in his most productive defensive game since signing with New England last year. The Super Bowl LV champion also broke up a pass in 26 coverage snaps. He earned a PFF grade of 79.6 for his efforts and improved his overall grade to 77.9 and coverage grade to 83.3, which rank eighth and seventh, respectively, out of 99 NFL corners.
Keldric Faulk, DE, Tennessee Titans
Faulk registered the first sack of his young career in just his third NFL game, totaling three solo stops and 2.0 tackles for loss against the Giants. The 2026 first-round pick made his presence felt by sacking Jameis Winston with 13:33 left in the fourth quarter to force a punt and set up the Titans’ touchdown drive. Entering the game with just two assisted tackles on the season, the rookie defensive end registered season best PFF grades in defense, run defense, tackling and pass rush.
Derick Hall, LB, Seahawks
Hall tallied his second sack of the season along with an additional quarterback hit in the Seahawks game against the Commanders. The former second-round pick’s two QB hits were the most in a game since his two-sack performance in Super Bowl LX. With just under two minutes remaining before halftime, Hall sacked Commanders’ quarterback Marcus Mariota to force a punt, setting up a Seahawks’ field goal. The fourth-year pro now has 12 sacks in his young career and owns an overall PFF grade of 64.2.
Roger McCreary, CB, Detroit Lions
McCreary delivered a standout performance in the Lions’ thrilling 31-24 victory against the Jets, totaling seven tackles, including four solo stops, to help Detroit secure the win. The former second-round pick recorded a season high in tackles and continued his strong play in the secondary in his first season with the Lions. The fifth-year pro has established himself as a consistent presence in the secondary, owning the seventh-best PFF pass rush grade (76.1) among 98 NFL cornerbacks.
