MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – In a field that includes seven top 25 teams, the eight-ranked Auburn women’s golf team opens the 2026-27 season this Monday at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate in Minneapolis for a three-day event running Sept. 7-9.
The Tigers are one of 12 teams in a loaded field which also includes No. 2 USC, No. 6 Wake Forest, No. 11 UCLA, No. 12 Oregon, No. 15 South Carolina, No. 19 Virginia, No. 26 North Carolina, Houston, Kansas State, Minnesota and Missouri.
Entering her 12th year at the helm, Head Coach Melissa Luellen will field a veteran team that consists of Charlotte Cantonis, Anna Davis, Balma Dávalos Guaita, Molly Brown Davidson and Anne Fernandez.
“The girls are ready to get this season started,” Luellen said. “These same five players were quite successful last fall. They love each other and love to have fun. They truly care and play for each other. They also do not care what teams are in the field, the goal to win is always the same.”
The tournament will be held at Royal Golf Club and the course is a par 72. Fernandez gets play started for the Tigers at 9:20 a.m. on Monday.
