AUBURN, Ala. – In an unprecedented exhibition game, the Auburn University men’s basketball team will face arch-rival and 20th-ranked Alabama in The Feud Presented by Shipt Same Day Delivery on Thursday night. Tipoff at Legacy Arena in Birmingham is set for 7 p.m.
The game will be streamed on Knight Eady’s YouTube page with Karl Ravech on the call. Additionally, Auburn alum Daymeon Fishback and Alabama alum Richard Hendrix will provide color commentary.
The game will also air on the Auburn Sports Network with Andy Burcham and Randall Dickey on the call. Fans can listen locally on 94.3 FM and through the Auburn Tigers app, while also watching Burcham and Dickey’s courtside cam on YouTube.
Thursday is Auburn’s second of three exhibition games before officially opening the season at home on Nov. 4 against Southeastern Louisiana. The Tigers fell to Florida State in their preseason opener with Tahaad Pettiford leading the way with 20 points.
In his first game action in over a year, fellow guard George Kimble III looked sharp in returning from injury with six points, six rebounds and a team-high six assists.
This will be Alabama’s third exhibition game of the season with previous victories coming against Furman (111-93) and Ole Miss (92-84). Sophomore Amari Allen has led the Tide in scoring in each of their first two contests.
Thursday also marks the first of at least three guarenteed contests between Auburn and Alabama this season, and the two teams could potentially face each other a maximum of five times if they meet in the SEC Tournament and again in the postseason.
