Derick Hall recorded his third sack of the season, while Bobby Jamison-Travis made his first career NFL start for the Giants, highlighting a strong week for former Tigers on the defensive side of the ball.

That and more on this week’s Auburn Made NFL Rundown

Jamel Dean, CB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Dean shined for the Steelers defense in a hard-fought 16-10 victory over the Saints in the NFL’s first-ever game played in Paris, France. On the heels of his historic performance last week where he registered six pass breaks, Dean tallied seven total tackles, with six being solo stops, and forced a fumble of New Orleans quarterback Tyler Shough on the one-yard line to deny the Saints a touchdown. The forced fumble was the third of the year for Dean, doubling his previous career total to six. The eighth-year pro currently has an overall PFF grade of 89.1, the second-highest grade out of 103 NFL corners. Dean also owns the top-rated run defense grade (94.2), helped by earning a season-best 95.8 mark, the highest in his position group this week.

Derick Hall, LB, Seattle Seahawks
Hall registered his third sack of the season while anchoring the Seahawks defense in a 20-3 blowout of the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. The former second-round pick filled the stat sheet with three total tackles, two quarterback hits, a sack and a forced fumble. Late in the third quarter, Hall delivered a hard hit on Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes, forcing a fumble that the Chiefs ultimately recovered but putting them behind the chains enough to kick a field goal. The forced fumble marked the third of Hall’s career, while his two quarterback hits brought his season total to nine. He also recorded a season-high five pressures, earning a season-best 72.8 PFF grade for his performance.

Bobby Jamison-Travis, DT, New York Giants
Jamison-Travis made his first NFL start in the Giants’ 27-21 overtime victory against the Texans. Playing in just his second career game, the rookie registered a season-best three total tackles, including one solo stop for New York. The 2026 sixth-round pick played 24 total snaps and received a 79.4 PFF grade for his performance, ranking 11th best mark among 135 interior defenders who played week seven. Jamison-Travis also earned a season-best run defense grade of 77.5 on the day, helping anchor the defensive line unit that held the Texans to 84 rushing yards and 3.4 yards per rush.

Jamien Sherwood, LB, New York Jets
Sherwood delivered another impressive performance for the Jets, recording eight total tackles, including two tackles for loss, and adding two pass breakups and two quarterback pressures. His 12 pressures on the season rank third among 75 eligible linebackers. The sixth-year pro has been a key fixture in New York's defense, logging 448 snaps and 41 solo tackles through seven games. The 2024 Jets MVP has led the team in tackles in each of the last two seasons and ranks second in the NFL in total tackles over that span. The former fifth-round pick is also closing in on the top 10 among Auburn alumni in career NFL tackles, with 424 through 78 career games.
