2009 Outdoor: Had an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 28:26.96 in the 10,000 meters while finishing sixth at the Stanford Invitational, but was unable to compete at the NCAA meet ... His time ranks second in school history ... Regionally qualified in the 5,000 meters at the Oregon Relays, placing fifth in 13:52.70, which ranks seventh in Auburn history.

2009 Indoor: Earned All-American honors in the 5,000m at the NCAA Championships, finishing seventh with a time of 13:55.25 ... Qualified in the 5,000 meters by placing third at the SEC Indoor Championships with a time of 13:49.44 that ranks second in school history ... First qualified in the 5,000m at the Tyson Invitational, finishing sixth in the Invitational race with a provisional qualifying time of 13:53.05 ... Ran the anchor leg to help the Distance Medley Relay team set a new school record at the Alex Wilson Invitational March 6 with an automatic qualifying time of 9:33.32 ... Finished as 10K NCAA South Regional runner-up (30:47.08) behind teammate Felix Kiboiywo ... Placed third at SEC Championship, clocking a season-best 8K time of 23:20.35 to land a spot on the league[apos]s first team ...
