Head coach Karen Hoppa announced the addition of Amy Reif as Auburn soccer's director of operations on Apr. 13, 2018.

Reif most recently served as the head softball coach at Park University in Parkville, Mo., and left as the winningest coach in school history with a career record of 268-169. She is set to be inducted into the Park Athletics Wall of Honor as a member of the class of 2021 on Jan. 8, 2022. 

A graduate of Auburn, Reif makes her way back to The Plains after earning her bachelor's degree in 1998, her master's degree in 2000 and serving as an assistant softball coach from 2000-04.

As the director of operations, Reif plays an important role in organizing the behind-the-scene efforts of the program that includes team travel and budget, among other aspects.

During her time at Park, Reif was named the 2008 Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference (MCAC) Coach of the Year and led the Pirates to its first NAIA National Tournament in 2009. While winning both a MCAC regular season and tournament championship, she also led her teams to the single-season program record for wins on a pair of occasions.

Reif coached more than 40 all-conference honorees, including a pair of American Midwest Conference (AMC) Pitchers of the Year, an All-American and a Capital One Academic All-American. Reif's student-athletes also achieved a GPA of 3.0 or better and the NAIA's designation as a Scholar Team in each of her seasons at the helm of the program.

During her time with the Auburn softball program, Reif was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll as a player and helped lead the Tigers to the first NCAA Regional in program history as a member of the coaching staff that was named the2002 South Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

Reif also has experience serving as a production assistant at ESPN and a paralegal at Basri Law LLC in Liberty, Mo.

A native of Kansas City, Kan., Reif and her husband, Derek, who played baseball at Auburn from 1997-2000, have two sons, Storm and Cash.
