Education: Clayte received his bachelor’s degree from Furman University in Communications Studies with a focus in Business and his master’s degree from Auburn University in Adult Education with a focus in Workforce Development
Job Responsibilities: Clayte works with the Assistant AD and Director of Annual Giving to coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Tigers Unlimited Ticket Priority Program for football, men’s basketball, and baseball as well as all sport specific annual giving programs which include Champions Club, Double Eagle Club, 108 Club, On Deck Club, 10.0 Club, Heritage Club, Aces Club, Gold Medal Club, and Tiger Zone Club. In addition, he serves as the coordinator for the RV program and brick program. He also works with the Tigers Unlimited Development team to coordinate and implement programs, services, and fundraising activities aimed at raising awareness and advancement of Auburn Athletics development initiatives.
Past Experience: During Clayte’s undergraduate years at Furman University, he was a 4-year letterman on the men’s golf team from 2014-2018. He served as the co-founder and President of the Furman Ducks Unlimited Chapter from 2015-2018 as well as a Furman University Ambassador from 2015-2018. In the spring of 2018, he was appointed by Furman’s Athletic Director to lead Furman Athletics Breast Cancer fundraiser. During His graduate years at Auburn, he served as the graduate assistant to the Auburn University Board of Trustees from 2018-2020 assisting in day-to-day operations, special topic research, and preparation of board materials as well as logistics for board meetings and athletic gamedays. Prior to joining Auburn, Clayte served in various sales roles in the private sector as well as property and facility management.
Personal: Clayte is a native of Auburn, Alabama. His brother, Riley, also works in Auburn Athletics as a graduate assistant in Athletic Communications.
