AK Prestridge returns home to the Plains to join Coach Larry Vickers’ staff as the Director of Basketball Operations. She joined the Tigers’ staff April 14, 2025.

Prestridge spent the last two seasons in the same role at SMU, joining the Mustangs’ staff in May of 2023. Before that, she was the director of operations at Cincinnati from 2021-23.

She spent six years with the Auburn women’s basketball program as a student, the last year and a half as a graduate assistant. While in that role, she assisted the director of operations with coordinating team travel and events as well as other daily administrative tasks. She was also tasked with oversight of student managers, facilitating their day-to-day operations and duties.

As an undergrad, she was a student manager for the Tigers for four-and-a-half years, where she helped oversee practice, assisted with game day and travel operations, team camps, and various day-to-day administrative and organizational tasks.

Prestridge graduated from Auburn in 2019 with a degree in business management and a minor in human resource management. She earned her master’s degree in higher education administration from Auburn in 2021.

An Auburn native, she was a four-year letterwinner in softball and basketball at Auburn High School.
