Education: Thompson received her bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship and family business from Auburn in 2006.

Job Responsibilities: Thompson is currently responsible for the overseeing, coordinating, supporting and evaluating special events for Auburn University Athletics.

Past Experience: Thompson began her career in catering and conference services at The Sanctuary Hotel at Kiawah Island Golf Resort on Kiawah Island, S.C. After 8 years in South Carolina, she and her family moved to Winter Park, Colo., where she became Director of Special Events at Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort and Spa. The opportunity to work for her alma mater, while continuing her zeal for event planning, came two years later. Thompson and her family returned to Auburn and began working for Auburn University Athletics in the Summer of 2015.

Personal: A native of Auburn, Ala., Thompson met her husband, Ryan, in Charleston while he was attending College of Charleston. Their family includes a daughter, Halsey, a son, Finn and their beloved fur-children, Boone, Sam and Rockies.
