Education: Anthony Vellucci earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (Sport Management major, General Business minor) from Bowling Green State University (2020) and a Master of Science in Kinesiology (Sport Management major) from The Ohio State University (2022), where he served as Treasurer of the Sport Management Association.
Job Responsibilities: Oversees event management operations for Women’s Soccer, Women’s Basketball, and Softball. He assists with game day operations for football and with the management of the NCAA and SEC tournament events hosted by Auburn.
Experience: Anthony Vellucci Brings several years of experience in event and facility operations. Most recently served as Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations at West Virginia University from 2022–25, overseeing game management and facility operations for women’s soccer, women’s gymnastics, baseball, and rowing, while also assisting with football and NCAA/Big 12 championship events. Prior to that, Vellucci worked at The Ohio State University Athletics from 2021–22 as Event Management Coordinator, managing game day operations for women’s and men’s gymnastics, baseball, and softball, and assisting with football and NCAA/Big Ten championship events. Vellucci also worked for Columbus Recreation & Parks Sports Office from 2020–21 as Special Events Assistant, overseeing baseball and softball tournament operations at Lou Berliner Sports Park and assisting with indoor facility rentals for basketball, volleyball, and soccer.
Personal: Vellucci is a native of Mansfield, Ohio, he is the youngest of three siblings, with one older brother and one older sister. He enjoys golfing and traveling in his free time.
