Education: An honors graduate of Troy University, Ashley pursued graduate studies at Auburn University at Montgomery and has recently completed multiple certificate programs focused on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) initiatives.

Job Responsibilities: As Director of Partnership Development, Ashley helps lead strategic initiatives to cultivate and grow revenue-generating partnerships that support Auburn Athletics.

Past Experience: Ashley brings a strong background in business development and leadership, having previously served for several years at a Fortune 500 company and most recently on the executive team of a privately-owned equity firm with operations in 45 states. There, he was instrumental in driving significant revenue growth through strategic partnerships, while leading benefits administration, human resources, and served on the executive leadership team.

Deeply committed to his community, Ashley has held numerous civic and leadership roles. He has served on the Board of Directors / Supervisory Committee for Guardian Credit Union, the Auburn University Athletic Director Club, and Leadership Montgomery, where he is a graduate. His additional community involvement includes roles as Capstone Leadership Speaker at Troy University, Honorary Commander of the 187th Fighter Wing, Committee Chairman of both the FBS Kickoff Classic and the Camellia Bowl Committee, and as a member of the Advisory Committee for the City of Auburn Downtown Redevelopment Authority and East Alabama Community Foundation, as well as a member of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Committee.

Ashley’s contributions have earned him several recognitions, including being named one of Central Alabama’s “Top 40 Under 40,” ESPN Bowl Series Volunteer of the Year, an inductee into the AUM Dixie Youth Hall of Fame, and Troy University’s Alumni of the Year.

Personal: Ashley and his wife, Clay (Auburn ’97), have two sons, Will (Auburn ’24) and Thomas (Auburn ’28), and are proud members of a fifth-generation Auburn family.
