Began at Auburn: July 2023

Education: Earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Hiram College in 2011. Earned a Master of Science in Education from the University of Akron in 2012. 

Job responsibilities: Sabo will be leading day-to-day operations of the four units that make up War Eagle Creative - creative video, creative design, photography, and elements of the sport-specific creative units. He will assume responsibility for all facets of the team’s operations including fostering innovation and collaboration and upholding the team’s status as a leader in creative production. 

Past experience: An NFL Films ground cinematographer and skilled post-production professional with over a decade of experience at both the collegiate and professional level, Sabo specializes in the creation of long-form documentary-style content and live-action shooting. Over the course of his career, he has garnered 19 Regional Emmy Awards and an additional 27 nominations. He started as a graduate assistant at the University of Akron and worked his  way up through the ranks. At Ohio University, he learned how to shoot live-action in the same philosophy that NFL Films employs. He took that experience to the University of Mississippi and oversaw their weekly television show "The Season: Ole Miss Football." That work helped him secure a position with the Carolina Panthers as a senior producer. Most recently, at Texas A&M, Sabo directed the sub-department "12th Man Films" whose main charge was to document and publicize the heritage and legends of Texas A&M Athletics while providing a narrative to connect the audience with the historic relevance of each subject. 

Personal: Married to the love of his life, Sydney, and proud father to two children.
