Cody Hopkins joined the Auburn football staff in December 2025. He currently serves as an assistant strength & conditioning coach.

Hopkins comes to Auburn after spending the previous three seasons as an assistant strength & conditioning coach under head coach Alex Golesh at USF. He played a role in preparing the Bulls for their high-octane offensive playing style and fast and physical defensive playing style.

Prior to arriving at USF, Hopkins spent the 2022 season as a developmental performance quality control analyst at Nebraska, where he oversaw the training of primary skill and big skill positions.

Hopkins has also served as a strength & conditioning intern at South Dakota, where he primarily worked with football, volleyball, and swimming & diving. Prior to this time at South Dakota, he intern at Iowa State and Florida State.

Originally from Tekamah, Neb., Hopkins attended Wayne State College and graduated with a degree in exercise science and a minor in coaching. He also played fullback for the Wildcats.
