Cole Weeks joined the Auburn Family prior to the 2017 campaign as a graduate assistant working with the Tiger offense.
A quarterback at Southern Miss from 2011-14, he started two games as a senior, against UTEP and Marshall, and passed for 761 yards and two touchdowns for the season. He passed for 300+ yards against Louisiana Tech (338) and UTEP (309). An outstanding scholar-athlete, he received the Jim Castaneda postgraduate scholarship from Conference USA.

Weeks came to Auburn from Jones County Junior College, where he was quarterback coach for the Bobcats. He served as a graduate assistant working with the quarterbacks at Southern Miss for the 2015 season.

Weeks graduated from Southern Miss in December, 2014, with a bachelor’s degree in coaching education with a minor in physical education. He is working toward a master’s degree in adult education at Auburn.

A native of Freeport, Fla., Weeks was a three-sport letterman at Freeport High, leading the Bulldogs to the football district and regional titles as a senior. Weeks is married to the former Alexis Barbaresi, a Southern Miss graduate.
