DeQuann Gordon is in his fifth season as part of the Auburn women’s basketball staff and his first as an assistant coach.
During her first season on the Plains as an assistant coach, the Tigers went 15-17 overall and 3-13 in SEC play. Included in that inaugural season were a top-25 win over archrival Alabama, an SEC Tournament win for the first time in two seasons, and record crowds filling Neville Arena.
Gordon is also the team’s video coordinator and has served in that role since the 2023-24 season. Previously, Gordon was a graduate assistant for the program in 2022-23 before moving into a full-time role.
Gordon played collegiately at Asbury College in Lexington, Kentucky.
He is married to Catherine Gordon, an athletic trainer for Auburn Athletics, and the couple have three children, Joseph, Isaac and Naomi.
