Devin Ducote joined the Auburn family in 2016 as a defensive analyst.

Ducote began his coaching career at his alma mater Stephen F. Austin serving as defensive backs coach from 2012-13. From 2014-15, he was a member of the LSU staff as a graduate assistant, where he worked with Auburn defensive coordinator Kevin Steele. He was selected to attend the 2012 NCAA Future Coaches Academy.  

Ducote was a three-time all-Southland Conference selection at linebacker during his playing career at SFA from 2007-10. He helped the Lumberjacks to Southland Conference titles in both 2009 and 2010. His career total of 414 tackles ranked second in the NCAA’s FCS Division, while his total of assists (238) ranked first.

A product of Baton Rouge, La., Ducote received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin in May, 2011 and a master’s degree in exercise science in August, 2015.
