Education: Gavin Phillips graduated from the University of Oregon in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentrating in Sports Business.

Job Responsibilities: Phillips is responsible for managing all aspects of game and event operations for Track & Field and Women’s Tennis, including planning, setup, and execution. He also provides support for game day operations for Football and Men’s Basketball.

Experience: Phillips gained valuable experience in event operations through his work with the University of Oregon Athletic Department. During his time at Oregon, he supported high-profile events including the U.S. Olympic Trials and all Oregon athletic events. In addition, he interned with the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2024 Training Camp, assisting with daily operations and contributing to team logistics, fan engagement, and setup for player and staff areas.

Personal: Phillips was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, and is the second youngest of four siblings—he has a twin brother, an older brother, and a younger brother. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and staying active.
