Education: Dr. Bella Fiorenzo earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), where she also competed as a member of the Soccer team. She pursued her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Saint Louis University, earning her master’s degree in 2021 and Ph.D. in 2024. Bella also completed an APA approved pre-doctoral internship at Auburn University from 2023-2024. She is currently working toward AL licensure and Certified Mental Performance Consultant® certification.
Job Responsibilities: Bella takes a holistic approach to student-athlete mental health and works with student-athletes on the full spectrum of well-being from sport performance enhancement to clinical mental health concerns. She provides individual services, consults with athletic department staff on student-athlete mental health needs and assists in the development of psychoeducational and outreach programming.
Past Experience: Bella comes to Auburn after training in a variety of settings, including university counseling centers, university medical clinics, and community mental health centers.
Personal: A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Bella enjoys visiting local coffee shops, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
