Education: Ali-Shaffer attended Bowling Green State University and received her bachelor of science in Business Administration (2015). She continued school at Ohio University where she received her MBA (2018) and a masters in Sport Administration (2019). 

Job Responsibilities: Ali-Shaffer will oversee the reporting of the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act Report. She will also work with the Title IX Office to coordinate annual Title IX educational training for all student-athletes, coaches and staff members. As the primary contact point for the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) platform (INFLCR), Ali-Shaffer will work with both Auburn Athletics staff and student-athletes to navigate the platform, as well as facilitate student-athlete NIL education related to personal branding, entrepreneurship and personal finance.

Experience: Ali-Shaffer comes to The Plains from Army West Point where she served as the Associate Athletic Director in Compliance. During her time, she was a member of the Executive Staff and served as sport administrator for Women’s Soccer, Women’s Rugby and Men’s Gymnastics. Prior to that, she worked at Long Island University (LIU) as the Associate Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator where she led the strategy, execution and assessment on a wide range of areas, including student-athlete success/experience, academic advising, sport programs, NIL and compliance programs for 37 varsity sports and 900 student-athletes. Before LIU, Ali-Shaffer spent three years at Fordham University as the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance and Student-Athlete Development. In that role, she oversaw the student-athlete development department which focuses on community service, personal development, leadership development and career development. She began her professional career at Dartmouth College as the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance where she provided technical expertise and served as a resource for all 35 varsity sports on rules, regulations and policies.

Personal: Ali-Shaffer is a native of Toms River, New Jersey. She was a gymnast at Bowling Green State University. She won MAC Freshman of the Year in 2012 and was Co-MAC champion on the vault in 2013.
