Education: Rhodes graduated with a degree in Sport Administration and a minor in Sports Science from Louisiana State University and earned a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Bethune- Cookman University.
Job Responsibilities: Rhodes will be directly responsible for the development and implementation of the strength & conditioning program for women’s tennis and will assist directly with the implementation of programs for women’s basketball.
Experience: Prior to Auburn, she was the Director of Player Development for women’s basketball at North Carolina A&T State University. She oversaw the development and implementation of the women’s strength and conditioning program as well as monitored their nutrition. She helped the Lady Aggies to a MEAC conference championship in
March 2021. Before NCAT, Rhodes worked at Bethune-Cookman University as an assistant strength and conditioning coach working with football, softball, men’s and women’s golf, and cheer. Rhodes also played basketball for Louisiana State University from 2013-17 where she helped the Lady Tigers to the Sweet 16 all four years.
Rhodes is certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Personal: Jasmine is an Alabama native, born and raised in Mobile. She attended Faith Academy High School where she played varsity basketball since the 7th grade. She still holds the record for most points in a single season (693), all-time leading rebounder (1,298), all-time leader in steals (606), and is the all-time leading scorer with 2,503 points. Her senior year they won the state championship, where she was awarded MVP of that game. She is the first and only female from Faith to get her jersey retired.
