Education: Hanel received his bachelor's degree in music performance from The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAPPA) at Edith Cowan University in 2004.

Job Responsibilities: Hanel oversees the management and daily operations of Post-Production video for all Auburn Athletic sports. Creates high-end features and videos, plus provides creative input for post-production video needs. He is responsible for the creation and creative direction of gameday tunnel videos/hype videos and feature stories for all athletics in-venue video boards and television productions.

Past Experience: Hanel came to Auburn after serving as the Associate Director of Athletic Video and Creative Lead at Baylor University, where he provided creative content for game day video presentations/social media and commercials. Prior to his stint at Baylor, Hanel was the In-Venue video board operator/hype video/intro video/ and video graphics creator for Northwestern State University Football.

Personal: A native of Dayton, Texas, Hanel has a daughter Jasmine, a son Eli, and is married to his wife Amber.
