A member of Auburn Athletics for 30 years, Jeremy Roberts was elevated to Senior Associate Athletics Director for Operations in July 2023.
Roberts supervises the athletics event management department with a daily emphasis on all aspects of football and softball home game operations. He assists with a variety of operational aspects of the athletics department, including facility planning, revenue generation, gameday experience, postseason events, football team travel and bowl travel, NCAA Men’s Basketball travel and football game scheduling.
Roberts also serves as a department contact for the parking services, tailgate services and food concessions providers on campus.
Roberts began his career in Auburn Athletics as an Assistant Director of Marketing from 1999-2002 before being promoted to Director of Marketing in 2002. In 2006, he became the Director of Operational Support Services and was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Operations in 2011, where he served for three years until becoming Associated Athletics Director in 2014.
Roberts has also previously served as sport administrator for the baseball and men’s and women’s tennis programs. He has been a part of Auburn Athletics since 1993, when he started as a student athletics trainer for football.
A native of Rome, Georgia, Roberts received both his bachelor’s degree in science in 1997 and master’s degree in education in 1999 from Auburn. He is a member of the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association.
He and his wife, Robin, have three daughters, Allie, Emory and Ellis.
