Education: Alexander graduated from the College of Charleston as a student-athlete competing in basketball, tennis and golf.

Job Responsibilities: Alexander serves as the Director of Operations for the men's and women's golf teams.

Past Experience: Alexander previously worked for Gator IMG Sports Marketing and has most recently worked as a health and fitness instructor and as a senior underwriting assistant. Alexander worked on the PGA Tour from 1998-2008 as a media and marketing official. Before working on the PGA Tour, Alexander worked in the SID offices at NC State, American and College of Charleston for eight years.

Personal: She is married to former University of Florida men's golf coach and current Auburn men's golf assistant coach Buddy Alexander, who retired in 2014 after 27 years leading the Gators. Joan is the stepmother to Tyson Alexander, a PGA Tour professional and Cortnee Alexander Gilchrist, a cheer coach for the University of Florida.
