Education: Attended University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Education majoring in Sports Management with minor in Business Administration Also attended Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, for 2 in studying Liberal Arts majoring in Political Science before transferring to the University of Tennessee

Past Experience: Sport management professional with 12 years of collegiate and professional experience working with athletes, coaches and administration. Athletic Equipment Manager Certified the past 10 years. A United States Army Veteran of 8 years' service on Active Duty. Perkins served as Student Equipment Manager during his time at the University of Tennessee and Purdue University. Before coming to Auburn University, he worked for Boise State University as the Assistant Director of Equipment Operations, Culver Academies cas the Head Equipment Manager, The Chicago Rush of the Arena Football League cas the Head Equipment Manager, and with the Chicago Bears, including two appearances NFC Conference Championship games & Super Bowl XLI, cas the Assistant Equipment manager. Served as Assistant Equipment Manager for the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer before becoming part of the Chicago Bears.

Personal: Born and raised in Indiana, Perkins is married to the former Nichole Buck, the couple has two daughters Cheyenne & Sydney.
