Education: Wetzel graduated from Auburn University in 2016.

Job Responsibilities: Wetzel is responsible for the oversight of all social media strategy within athletics and manages the Auburn Tigers and men’s basketball social media accounts.

Past Experience: Previously, Wetzel served as an Assistant Sports Information Director at Point University in West Point, Georgia. Prior to Point University, Wetzel served in the United States Army with the 2nd Infantry Division. He was medically retired in 2014 due to injuries sustained in the line of duty while deployed to Afghanistan.

Personal: Wetzel is a native of Glencoe, Alabama and is married to Paige Wetzel.
