Education: Wetzel graduated from Auburn University in 2016.

Job Responsibilities: Josh Wetzel joined the sales team in August 2025 with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, fostering strong relationships with the Auburn Family, and driving sales across the full portfolio of Auburn University’s ticketed sports. In addition, Josh serves as a part of the AU VIP team in providing top level service to our fans particiatping in unique and fun experiences on gameday and throughout the year.

Past Experience: Previously, Wetzel served as an Assistant Sports Information Director at Point University in West Point, Georgia. Prior to Point University, Wetzel served in the United States Army with the 2nd Infantry Division. He was medically retired in 2014 due to injuries sustained in the line of duty while deployed to Afghanistan.

Personal: Wetzel is a native of Glencoe, Alabama and is married to Paige Wetzel.
