Matt Pettit is in his third season with the Auburn track and field program. He assists mainly with training the mid-distance and distance runners.

Pettit graduated from Colorado State University in 2004 with a Bachelor[apos]s degree in philosophy. The CSU cross country team competed at the NCAA Championships every year he was there, finishing as one of the country[apos]s top teams each season.

Pettit is currently pursuing his Master[apos]s degree in Public Administration at Auburn.
