Patrick Johnston joins the Tigers[apos] volleyball team as a first-year volunteer assistant. He comes from the University of Western Ontario, where he plays on the varsity men[apos]s volleyball squad.

Prior to collegiate playing experience, Johnston served as assistant coach for his college in 2007 while sitting out the season. From 2004-2005, Johnston played for Team Canada and for Team Ontario in 2005.

Besides playing for UWO, Johnston coaches the under 21 junior varsity team at the school. He is working on his Bachelor[apos]s degree in history with a minor in professional writing.
