Education: Reitz attended Georgia State University and received her bachelor of science in Psychology (1999) and master's in Professional Counseling (2003). In 2006, Reitz obtained a graduate teaching certificate in Early Childhood/Special Education from Mercer University.

Job Responsibilities: Reitz will oversee Auburn Athletics’ alumni relations, student-athlete engagement programs-including the WINGS mentoring program, employer and corporate relations, and alumni student-athlete services for all sports. Responsibilities include managing student-athlete experience programs, focusing on professional development, job placement, and transition support, as well as coordinating the AuburnYOU Career Network.

Experience: Reitz has over 13 years of experience working in higher education, a passion that began during her graduate school internship at Clayton State College (now Clayton State University) where she did both mental health and career counseling work. From 2011-2023, Reitz worked at Penn State University as a career counselor in the central career services office where she helped create and supervise the Peer Career Assistant and Mock Interview program. Additionally, Reitz also worked the the Department of Sociology and Criminology at Penn State and was able to develop a full career experience for students that included job and internship coordination, alumni and employer relations, event planning and management (including the creation of a career expo targeted specifically to all majors); grant and scholarship management, and work with the College of Liberal Arts development and strategic communications. Reitz finished her time at Penn State working as the Assistant Director of Professional Graduate Programs where she provided career counseling for Smeal College of Business graduate students. Since 2023, Reitz has been at Auburn University working as the Assistant Director of Exploratory Career Counseling for the Exploration Center, a part of the larger Career Discovery and Success office. During Reitz's tenure, she worked primarily with students who are exploring major and career choices; helped develop curriculum for an exploratory career class; assisted with the creation of the first ever "major fair" that will take place in October. Prior to entering higher education full-time, Reitz worked as a juvenile probation officer for the State of Georgia, worked with a psychologist conducting psychological evaluations and writing forensic reports, and was a K-12 special education teacher in Georgia and Pennsylvania.

Personal: Reitz is a native of Stockbridge, Georgia. In her spare time, Reitz can be found enjoying reading, cooking, music, photography, and watching documentaries. She has two dogs-Obi, a Shiba Inu, and Roux, a Basenji.
