Rosalind Goodwin is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Auburn track and field program. Goodwin came to Auburn after assisting with the Ohio State track and field program last year.

Goodwin will be responsible for travel coordination, ordering and distributing equipment and communicating community and university announcements for both the men[apos]s and women[apos]s teams. She will be the coordinator for the summer track and field camp, and will also assist in the development of the Auburn men[apos]s and women[apos]s jumpers.

Goodwin graduated from Ohio State in 2005 with a degree in human ecology. She was a two-time All-American in the triple jump for the Buckeyes, placing fifth at the 2005 NCAA Outdoor Championships and sixth at the 2004 Outdoor meet. She was a 2004 Olympic Trials qualifier in the triple jump, finishing 14th, and placed ninth at the 2005 USA Track and Field Championships.

Goodwin was a six-time Big Ten champion, with three wins in the long jump and three wins in the triple jump. She won the Big Ten indoor triple jump and long titles in both 2004 and 2005, while also winning the 2004 outdoor triple jump and 2005 outdoor long jump crowns.

Goodwin still holds Ohio State records in the outdoor triple jump (44-3.5), the indoor triple jump (43-10.5) and the indoor long jump (20-9).

Goodwin was married in the fall of 2006 to Dexter Joseph. The couple resides in Auburn.
