Education: Thermil earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Psychology from Robert Morris University in 2015 and a Master of Science in Sport Administration from Arkansas State University in 2025. While at Robert Morris, he played football and served as a team captain during Coach Joe Walton’s final season leading the program.
Job Responsibilities: As an Academic Coordinator, Thermil works primarily with the Auburn Football program. His responsibilities include monitoring academic progress and NCAA eligibility, meeting with student-athletes, coordinating academic support services, communicating with coaches and campus partners, and helping student-athletes develop the structure, accountability, and ownership needed to succeed academically and personally.
Experience: Prior to joining Auburn, Thermil worked in academic support with football and track and field student-athletes at Georgia Tech. Most recently, he served as a Student-Athlete Success Coach at Overtime Elite, where he supported student-athletes through academic planning, progress monitoring, family communication, personal development, and preparation for college.
Personal: A native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, Thermil is married and has three children. He began his college career studying graphic design at Robert Morris before transitioning to Sport Psychology and continues to enjoy graphic design as a creative outlet. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and working out.
