Education: Shubert earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of North Florida in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration from Jacksonville University in 2019.

Job Responsibilities: As Athletics IT Operations & Service Desk Manager, Shubert oversees daily IT operations and service desk functions for Auburn Athletics, including leading staff, coordinating technical support, managing technology assets, and supporting athletic events. He also serves as an escalation point for complex technical issues and works with campus IT, vendors, and Auburn Athletics to ensure reliable technology and a strong customer experience.

Experience: Prior to joining Auburn Athletics, Shubert spent two years as a Senior Network Engineer with Auburn University’s Office of Information Technology. He previously spent two and a half years at Neptune Technology Group as a Senior Systems Administrator supporting Service Desk and IT Operations. Shubert also spent 20 years at The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida, serving in IT leadership and network administration roles.

Personal: A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Shubert and his wife, Nikki, have been married for 23 years. Nikki also works at Auburn University in the Biggio Center. The couple has a miniature dachshund named Teddy Bear.
