Tyler Renard joined the Auburn staff as the director of football equipment operations in April, 2022.
Renard came to Auburn from UTSA, where he became the head of athletics equipment operations in 2020 before being promoted to assistant athletics director for athletics equipment operations.
Prior to UTSA, Renard served as the assistant director of football equipment operations at his alma mater, the University of Arkansas, from 2017-20. He was a graduate assistant on the Arkansas football equipment staff during the 2016-17 school year.
Renard started as a student manager for the Razorback football program. He served as an equipment intern at South Florida during the 2015-16 school year.
He received his bachelor’s degree in education from Arkansas in 2015 and a master’s degree in education from Arkansas in 2017. He is a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association.
A native of Little Rock, Ark., Renard is a graduate of Little Rock Catholic High School.
