Education: Coombs graduated from Florida State University in 2021 and earned a master’s degree in Sport Administration from Georgia State University in 2023.

Job Responsibilities: As Assistant Director of Ticket Operations, Coombs oversees ticket operations for Auburn Softball. His responsibilities include customer service, game-day operations, sport-specific ticketing, ticketing software and technology management, and conflict resolution. He also assists with the selection and training of student interns.

Experience: Prior to joining Auburn, Coombs served as Assistant Manager of Ticket Operations at Penn State University, where he oversaw ticket operations for men’s basketball and women’s volleyball. Prior to his time at Penn State, he worked as a Ticket Operations Trainee with the Atlanta Braves from January 2024 to July 2025, supporting ticket office operations for home games and events, including the 2025 MLB All-Star Game.

Personal: A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Coombs enjoys attending live sporting events, concerts, and playing golf in his free time. He also has a twin brother, whom he is older than by 36 minutes.
