Key Information

Full-time Faculty/Staff members are eligible to purchase two (2) Faculty/Staff season tickets, discounted 20% off the base ticket price for all ticketed sports: Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Gymnastics, Baseball, and Softball; subject to availability.

If a sport is sold out of season tickets, a random lottery will be implemented to order available tickets the following year. Entry into the lottery is deemed an order, and those that are selected will have their credit cards charged for the purchase of tickets. Individuals that no longer wish to purchase season tickets will need to cancel their request before the lottery has been completed. Individuals will not have an opportunity to cancel their order post-lottery results.

  • Football & Men’s Basketball: Faculty/Staff members will have the opportunity to participate in an online 3D seat selection to choose and/or change their seat locations for the upcoming year. Information regarding the seat selection is sent via email with details regarding accessing the website and the individual’s timeslot.
  • Baseball, Gymnastics, Softball & Women’s Basketball: Faculty/Staff members will have the opportunity to request changes to their seating based on availability. When ordering tickets, faculty/staff members must enter their seating change comments in the comments section of the online order form. If no comments are made, individuals will be placed in their same seats.

All full-time Auburn University System employees who are employed and order/enter the lottery by the deadline are eligible to order two season tickets for that year.

  • If both spouses are employed at AU, both spouses are allowed to purchase tickets.
  • If one family member dies, the surviving member can use the deceased points for one year. The points will then revert back to the surviving member's existing points if both employees purchased tickets. If only one set of tickets were purchased, the surviving spouse can continue to use those points of the deceased employee to purchase tickets.

In order to be eligible to purchase tickets as a retiree, an employee must have been employed full-time at Auburn University as a state retirement system employee within one year preceding the official retirement date.
Retirees will receive a 25% reduction in their priority points.

  • In the event of the death of an eligible retiree who ordered season tickets in the year of his/her death, ticket ordering privileges will be extended to the surviving spouse for the next season only.
  • If both spouses are retired from Auburn University, then both spouses are allowed to purchase tickets as a retiree. If one family member dies, the surviving member can use the deceased points for one year. The points then revert back to the surviving member's existing points if both retirees purchased tickets. If only one set of tickets were purchased as a retiree, the surviving spouse can continue to use those points to purchase tickets.
  • The only retirees who receive emails are those who ordered season tickets the preceding year. Retired employees are urged to keep their contact information up to date with the ticket office. Retirees who did not purchase tickets as active employees will not be added automatically to the ticket priority system.

Selling Faculty/Staff tickets at a profit is prohibited. Any individual violating said policy will be subject to penalties up to permanent loss of priority seating. Faculty/Staff tickets are not eligible for re-sale on SeatGeek.

  • Faculty/Staff tickets are offered at a discounted rate as a sport entertainment intended for personal use and cannot be sold or traded at an amount greater than the price paid by the employee.
  • Auburn University faculty and staff are public employees, and as such, are subject to the Alabama Ethics Law. Faculty and staff are prohibited from selling or trading tickets obtained through their employment at Auburn for profit as this constitutes using their public position for personal gain. This is a violation of the Alabama Ethics Law.
  • Auburn University officials investigate reports of any employee selling Faculty/Staff tickets for more than the price indicated on the tickets. Employees found to have profited from the sale or trade of Faculty/Staff tickets will be reported to the Alabama Ethics Commission, which can levy fines and criminal charges.
  • Additionally, faculty, staff and retirees who violate this policy are subject to university penalties, which include revocation of current season tickets and permanent ban on the purchase of Faculty/Staff tickets in the future.

Faculty and staff discounts are only eligible on the purchase of season tickets. No single game discounts are offered to faculty/staff members.

Faculty/Staff priority points are calculated based on years of ticket purchase. Priority points are used to determine the following:

  • Online Seat Selection: Individuals' timeslots to participate in online Football and Men’s Basketball seat selection are determined by the Faculty/Staff Priority System. The individual with the highest priority will be awarded the first time slot.
  • Seat Relocation Requests: Those who request to relocate their season ticket location for Baseball, Gymnastics, Softball, and Women’s Basketball will have their request reviewed and allocated in Faculty/Staff Priority System Order. The individual with the highest priority will have their request reviewed first.
  • Away Game & Post-Season Ticket Lottery: If the demand for away game and post-season tickets is greater than the number of tickets allotted for Auburn University, all Faculty/Staff who ordered season tickets will have a chance to purchase tickets. However, the drawing will be tiered and weighted such that those with higher Faculty/Staff Priority points will have a greater chance for selection.
