Auburn, Alabama - The No. 37 Tigers beat No. 52 South Alabama 7-0 on a sunny day at the Auburn Tennis Complex in Auburn, Alabama. With the win, Auburn improves to 11-8 on the year, while South Alabama falls to 14-9.

"This is a very good win for us," Head Coach Tim Gray said, "South Alabama was a little beat up; they had to pull three girls. When that happens it is very easy for a team to lose focus, but we didn't. They are a really good team and this is another feather in our cap that can help get us into the tournament."
Auburn continued to score points in singles. Auburn's Chifchieva defeated Spangenberg 6-2,6-1. At the No. 2 spot, Haney defeated Krivacevic 6-4,6-2. At the No. 4 spot, Melissa Koning blanked Yana Bokareva 6-0, 6-0. Whitney Chappell pulled out a victory in the No. 3 spot over Dijana Stanic 1-6, 6-4, 1-0.
Jil Hastenrath and Kelly Adams won by default as South Alabama did not play in the No. 5 and No. 6 matches.
