Auburn Goes 3-0 In Day Two Of Florida State Seminole Tennis Invitational

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Lukas Marsoun advanced to the semifinals as the Auburn men's tennis team finished off a 3-0 day at the Florida State Seminole Invitational on Saturday.

After picking up two wins on Friday, Marsoun kept rolling Saturday with a 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 win over Central Florida's Brock Sakey.

Marsoun advances to the B Division semifinals and will face Columbia's Jonathan Wong at 8 a.m., Sunday.

After losses on Friday, Auburn's Hunter Mills and Nick Maurillo found themselves in the B Division consolation bracket on Saturday and proceeded to pick up a pair of wins.

Mills, who lost to Sakey on Friday, defeated Florida's Dan Cash, 6-4, 4-6, 10-8. He will take on South Alabama's Aaron Krisan at 8 a.m., Sunday in the consolation bracket quarterfinals. Krisan landed in the consolation bracket after losing to Marsoun on Friday.

Maurillo also picked up a win in the consolation bracket after defeating Florida A&M's Paul Paige, 6-0, 6-0. He is set to take on Florida's Geoff Barton at 8 a.m., Sunday in the B Division consolation bracket quarterfinals.
