TULSA, Okla. - The Auburn men's tennis team fell in both matches today at the ITA All-American Championships at University of Tulsa on Wednesday.
In the Singles Qualifying draw, Auburn junior Andreas Mies fell to Cal Poly's No. 62 Andre Dome, 6-4, 6-3. The 70th-ranked Mies had defeated Purdue's Mark Kovacs and Baylor's Mate Zsiga to reach the final round of qualifying.
In doubles, Auburn's No. 30 duo of sophomore Daniel Cochrane and junior Dennis Lengsfeld fell to Nebraska's Eric Sock and Andre Stenger, 8-4, in the third round of qualifying.
In the Doubles Main Draw, Auburn's No. 26 combo of Alex Stamchev and Andreas Mies will square off against Duke's No. 15 tandem of Henrique Cunha and Chris Mengel in the first round tomorrow at 6 p.m.
