AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" Ben Braymer pitched 3.1 scoreless and Jackson Burgreen extended his reached base streak to 20 games, but Auburn baseball fell to No. 4 Mississippi State 4-0 on Friday at Plainsman Park.

"I thought (Hudson) was on and I thought it was a tough at-bat for a right-handed hitter," Auburn head coach Butch Thompson said. "Our guys see 93, 94 but what our guys don't see is a right-handed cutter/slider at 88-90.

"We had some decent left-handed at-bats against him but every time we hit a ball hard, they caught it. I thought that was a huge difference in the ballgame."

Burgreen walked in the fifth inning to extend his reached base streak to 20 games. He also had a pair of outfield assists from left for Auburn (22-28, 8-17).
