AUBURN, Ala. - Offense? Defense? Special teams? Auburn's got that covered on the preseason All-Southeastern Conference first team announced Friday from SEC Media Days.

Defensive end Carl Lawson, offensive lineman Alex Kozan and place-kicker Daniel Carlson won first-team honors in the annual vote by the media.

Defensive lineman Montravius Adams was selected second-team All-SEC. Running back Jovon Robinson, offensive lineman Braden Smith and defensive back Rudy Ford were named to the third team.

The preseason honors were more of the same for the Tigers. Lawson and Ford, Auburn's top tackler each of the last two seasons, are on the watch list for Bednarik Award, which recognizes college football's best defensive player. Lawson and Adams are on the watch list for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, another top defensive award.

Adams, Kozan and Smith are on the watch list for the Outland Trophy, which goes to the game's top interior lineman.

Carlson is on the watch list for the Lou Groza Award, which goes to the top kicker in college football. He was a finalist for the award last season.
