AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn men’s golf has been named a GCAA All-Academic team. The Tigers are one of a record 210 teams to earn the honor. To be eligible, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Seniors Ryan Benton, Blake Messer, Matt Gilchrest, junior Ben Schlottman and May graduate Jake Mondy were previously named to the 2016 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll in June while freshmen Graysen Huff, Mark Lawrence and Jacob Solomon were named to the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll.
Auburn is one of 114 Division I teams and one of nine SEC teams to earn All-Academic honors. Valparaiso is the Division I Academic National Champion.
